A derelict pre-war squash court building which we successfully converted into 2 high quality family residential units with large open spaces. Our approach for this scheme due to the confined site area and issues of overlooking was to create an upside-down plan where the bedrooms were located at ground floor opening the first floor to large full height ceiling living spaces.

Private light wells were introduced on the rear boundary to allow natural light and ventilation to the ground floor bedrooms
as well as providing first floor terrace areas for the open living spaces.
